The Tel Aviv University Model UN Society

Model UN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. The participants role-play as diplomats representing a country or NGO in a simulated session of a committee of the United Nations, such as the Security Council or the General Assembly. Participants research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.

Everyone has untapped potential!

At TAUMUN we hold practice sessions once a week which include everything from classes and workshops to simulations and guest speakers. We take pride in offering our members high quality lessons which will guide them through the world of Model United Nations and prepare them for conferences.

At TAUMUN we focus not only on conferences on a national scale, but go above and beyond to send our members to compete on the international arena. We were the first Israeli delegation to attend HMUN at Harvard University, and we were thrilled to have been awarded the Outstanding Delegation award at the Security Council in the European Championships.

This year we will be hosting our first international conference. Chairs and delegates will be coming in from all over the world. Our conference consists of a unique and advanced Joint Cabinet Crisis format.
