When does registration end?

Registration closes on July 1

How much is the registration fee?

The delegate fee in early bird registration is 80 Euros until May 31st.

The delegate fee in Regular registration is 100 Euros until July 1st.

How can I pay?

Via paypal on our MyMUN website.

How do I know that you received my payment? 

As soon as we receive your payment we will send you an e-mail of confirmation. This also serves as the official Invitation Letter. Your steps within the registration are then completed. The TAUMUN JCC Team will allocate you as soon as possible with consideration of your cabinet preferences.

I cannot make it to the Conference, how do I get my money back?

Cancellations are possible until June 14, 2015.

 -- If a delegate cancels before May 1, 2015, a full refund will be awarded.

 -- If a delegate cancels after May 1, 2015 and before June 14, 2015, 50% of the conference fee will be refunded.

 -- If a delegate cancels after June 14, 2015, no refund will be awarded.

 

Remember -- the TAUMUNJCC Post-Program fees are non-refundable. If a participant should cancel his or her participation, a transaction fee of 5 Euros will be deducted from any money reimbursed. 

Will there be Scholarships & Financial Aid?

Unfortunately, at this point we are not able to provide any kind of scholarship or financial aid for TAUMUNJCC 2015.

How will transportation work?

There is plenty of public transportation throughout Israel, specifically in Tel Aviv. We will have special bus card for delegates.

 

On Friday afternoon buses and trains stop operations. All day Saturday buses and trains do not operate. 

 

Taxi Cabs are always an option for travel. The 'Get Taxi' app is a wonderful way to order a cab easily. 

What type of outlets does Israel use?

The Israeli power supply is single phase 220 voltes at 50 Hertz. Most power sockets in Israel have three pin hoes, but many of them will work with double-pin European plugs. Delegates who want to use shavers, traveling irons, and other small appliances may need both transformers and adaptor plugs. An example of the plug type used in Israel is pictured to the right.

Who can participate in TAUMUNJCC 2015?

TAUMUN Joint Cabinet Crisis is the largest Conference of its kind in Israel. It is held on a University level. Hence, only university students are eligible to apply to the Conference. To participate in the social program delegates need to be 18 years or older. Individuals not enrolled in university being interested in participating in TAUMUNJCC 2015 will go through a different registration process.

How many members may a delegation have?

A delegation is counted if it contains more two or more members. A maximum number is not set.

Does the conference fee also include accommodation?

It is not included in the conference fee. Check back soon we should have special deals for delegates in the coming months!

Will there be a Post-Program?

We are proud to be able to host an outstanding Post-Program touring all of the wonders of Israel. The program will take place for a few days after the actual TAUMUNJCC conference. Further and more detailed information about the Post-Program is available on our website.

Are there any evening activities planned?

Every evening there will be exciting social events. A schedule will be outlined in the Conference booklet and is published on the TAUMUNJCC website. All of these activities are voluntarily. The costs for the social package including all social activities are not included in the conference fee. Further information regarding the detailed schedule will be available soon.

I need a formal invitation letter for my Institution/University, what do I do?

Please let us know by sending an e-mail to taumunjcc@gmail.com. In this email please state the official name of the institution, the name and the official title of the person the letter should be addressed to and an e-mail address. We will then process your request as soon as possible.

Are there special holiday hours on Fridays and Saturdays?

Friday afternoon until Saturday after sunset many stores and restaurants are closed for the Jewish holiday Shabbat.
